In March 2026, Prof. Dr. Ivona Brajević participated in two international scientific conferences in the fields of information technology and artificial intelligence.
From March 19 to 20, 2026, she participated in the 14th International Symposium on Digital Forensics and Security (ISDFS 2026), held at Endicott College in Boston, MA, USA. At the conference, the paper entitled “On the Impact of Ensemble Strategies in Tabular Data Regression” was presented. The co-authors of the paper are Prof. Dr. Milan Tuba (Singidunum University, Belgrade) and Una Tuba (Singidunum University, Belgrade). The paper focuses on the application of ensemble methods in regression problems on tabular data. Participation in the conference included attendance at professional sessions and familiarization with current approaches in digital forensics and cybersecurity.
From March 21 to 22, 2026, she participated in the International Conference on Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence (ITAI 2026), held at Lasell University in Boston, MA, USA. At the conference, a paper in the field of explainable artificial intelligence (Explainable AI) was presented. The co-authors of the paper are Prof. Dr. Milan Tuba (Singidunum University, Belgrade), Prof. Dr. Eva Tuba (Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas), and Dr. Ana Trisovic (Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT). The paper addresses contemporary approaches to the interpretation of machine learning models. Participation included attendance at professional sessions and monitoring of current research directions in artificial intelligence.
During her stay in Boston, a visit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was also carried out, providing insight into the research environment and current development trends in the fields of information technology and artificial intelligence.
